INTENSED PULSED LIGHT (IPL)

The Intense Pulse Light (IPL) emits a beam of light energy that passes through the skin and targets the skin pigments: melanin and blood. IPL also provides a great Skin Rejuvenation and Anti-Ageing effect - it is commonly known as a Photofacial.

Uniform complexion + Skin Rejuvenation

It helps to diminish the appearance of freckles, age spots, spider veins, sun damage, enlarged pores, redness and flushing (rosacea), and irregular pigmentation. The IPL treatment targets imperfections on the surfaces of the epidermis. The skin tone will have a more even look and feel, sunspots will fade and pore sizes will shrink. These improvements will steadily increase with each treatment.

IPL also helps to rebuild collagen – this process gets initiated with each IPL session. Throughout the course of treatments your skin becomes visibly firmer, tighter and plumper.

Great treatment for the following areas:

• Face  • Neck  • Décolleté  • Hands

After treatment

Temporary REDNESS and mild "SUNBURN" like effects are typically expected.

Brown spots begin turning darker straight after the treatment and could continue to darken within three days. The marks should either disappear by being absorbed or flake off within 1-2 weeks.

In addition, freckles may lighten and/or temporarily or permanently disappear in treated area.

For rosacea/vein removal treatment, the red veins will either disappear straight after the procedure or become more pronounced and start to diminish beginning at any time up to one day following the treatment, and may take up to 4 weeks to be completely absorbed.

Cherry angiomas should become darker right away, but may not appear to be much affected until 3-6 weeks post-treatment, at which point they should disappear, leaving healthy skin behind.

Fine lines and wrinkles, or rough skin, should show improved smoothness 1-3 months after treatment. This improvement is easier to see and quantify if at least three treatments are done within four months.

It is essential to protect the skin from direct sunlight and apply a sun protector with the minimum SPF 30.
